Prosperity Agencies has announced that it has purchased RFID tyre tags and UHF RFID readers, and that it expects to supply even more as the RFID and Barcode tracking program is further deployed in Zambia.

The managing director says that the company is ready for the full introduction of the RFID and Barcode asset management system."We introduced this tyre tracking program earlier last year as a solution in the challenging quest to identify, track and protect tyres as a major expense in the trucking industry.

"Asset tracking is our core business," says Prosperity Agencies CEO. He says that Prosperity Agencies provides Tyre Management solutions including Tyre Tags as well technical assistance relating to tyre tracking to deter theft and swapping of tyres.

Through the use of this Asset Management technology widely used in Australia,Europe and US, fleet owners in Africa could dramatically decrease spending on tyres and other assets resulting in large cost reduction.

The company is determined to clear the belief that "Africa lags behind in asset tracking solutions" by encouraging businesses in Africa to deploy asset tracking systems.
